| Evolution Securities China Limited wins Queen’s Award for Enterprise | |

Evolution Securities China, the leading international investment bank for mid-cap Chinese corporates and their global institutional investor base, has won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade Category. The award winners are announced on 21 April, the Queen’s birthday, every year and represent the best companies in each field. The award is given to businesses that can demonstrate substantial growth in overseas earnings and commercial success, to levels that are outstanding for the goods or services concerned and for the size of the applicant's operations. ESCL has grown revenues by 123% compound over the last three years and has contributed towards raising over US$800m for Chinese companies since the beginning of 2004. The Group’s focus is raising capital for Chinese corporates, both on the London market through its London based corporate finance and sales team and in Asia through its Hong Kong and People’s Republic of China based subsidiary Evolution Watterson Securities Limited, a wholly owned corporate finance, research and securities dealing firm. ESCL announces the acquisition of Watterson Asia Limited ("Watterson") and the rebranding of Watterson as Evolution Watterson Securities Limited (EWSL). EWSL is based in Hong Kong and conducts corporate finance and securities dealing activities. Since it's inception in 2001, the firm has undertaken a wide variety of corporate finance and advisory functions and has led or co-led fundraisings for a number of companies in the listed Hong Kong market. David Tsang will remain as EWSL chief executive. The board of ESCL believe that the Acquisition significantly enhances ESCL's current capability by giving it full access to Hong Kong equity markets on a primary and secondary basis. This acquisition complements its existing specialist research activities based in Shanghai and its primary and secondary activities in the London market. (June 2006)” |

ESCL announces the hire of two new directors into its Corporate Fiannce department. Ian comes to ESCL from Corporate Synergy, soon to be named Blue Oar, and has ten years of corporate finance experience. He has further experience across the personal finance sector and worked at British Airways as a consultant to review the Company's operational procedures. Ian has experience in advising Chinese companies and has presented to professional advisers, companies and local government there on the attractions for companies to float on the London markets. He is a registered representative of the FSA and a registered AIM Nominated Adviser. Ian has an MBA from Cranfield University. Barry joins ESCL from City Financial Associates and has some 17 years of corporate finance experience having worked for Dresdner Kleinwort, Arbuthnot Securities Limited and Dawnay Day amongst others. He has advised on many high profile transactions including placings for Hampson, the aerospace group, and Fitness First; the Full List IPO of Visonic, the security group; a number of AIM IPOs, inculding Cosentino, the US wine producer; and a number of public company takeovers, including Druck Holdings, Perkins Foods, Ellis & Everard, Groupe Chez Gerad and West Bromwich Albion. Barry is both a UKLA sponsor and AIM Nominated Adviser and is an FSA registered representative. He is a graduate of St Catharine's College Cambridge. (March 2007)” |

Evolution China were invited to accompany the Lord Major of London on his official visits in March and April 2006 to the cities of Hong Kong, Chongqing, Chengdu, Shenzhen and Guangzhou. Evolution China were the only participants invited to give two presentations on both IPOs and private equity fundraising at seminars on the London Financial Markets. Nick Martin, Head of Corporate Finance, and Corporate Finance colleagues, Julian Ha, from London, and Stanley Shen, from Shanghai, delivered presentations in English and Mandarin to specially invited audiences of 150 to 200 senior businessmen and officials.
